Shop

Shooting for an early October open date. I can't set anything in stone, because I still have to do some checking up on payment arrangements, but this month I will have a shop online, with various JDM Trinkets, and Magazines and DVDs. I know what I am interested in, and I know your main interest from the simple fact that you are reading this blog, but for the different stuff, give me a shout and let me know what you want, or better yet, need from Japan. I can either put it up on the shop, or we can work on a different arrangement that works for you via e-mail.

I will also be getting an eBay store up and going. Personally I don't like eBays hands always being in my pocket, but it's a great way to advertise the blog, via putting leaflets in the packages. You have to pay to advertise, so why not minimize it as much as possible?

I will have more details listed in a post that I publish the day the store opens. I can tell you with certainty, that it will be small items in the store. I CAN GET BIG THINGS. If you need it, tell me. Just be aware shipping from Japan isn't the cheapest thing available, but I will do what I can for you, simply because "I am your passport to Japan."

Domain
I have had the domain www.exitevideomagazine.com parked for almost 4 or 5 years while I waited for an opportunity to really use it. I admit I should have started the blog then, but I kept putting it off, wanting everything to be "perfect." Let me tell you, folks, nothing will ever be perfect, and we are not promised another day. Therefore although some functions of this blog aren't fully functional yet I am pushing on. That being said I am working on tightening everything up, and I will have the domain up and running next month.

I have to get a hold of GoDaddy.com, who I parked my domain with, and send them a copy of a photo ID to get my user name and password back, it's been that long! That will happen tonight (for me, it will be daytime in America). After that happens, it will be my first priority. That way I can start working on advertising with a real domain name.

I will make a post when the domain name is switched. I am pretty sure no one is even following me yet, if you are... I don't care if you are one person or 1,000,000 you are important to me and you deserve to know.

Super GT (JGTC) Video Edit
I will be going to Super GT at Autopolis. It's only 2 hours from my house.

Wow though, two big automotive events in 2 weeks.... draining my wallet and sucking my car fund. Oh well.... I can honestly say that all of my life, I have wanted to go to a Super GT event, D1GP, and Tokyo Autosalon in Japan. In two more weeks, I will have knocked two of those goals out.

On the D1 edit that I'm still working on, I shot first and asked questions (about music) later. No, no, no, NO. I know better. That is not how a good music video edit is made. It's true that I can't control what happens, but I can at least figure out what kind of shots I want to grab. Therefore, I'm going to pick a music selection first. Preparation never hurts.

I have pit walk passes, so I am going to try my best to get you all as close to the action as I can.... I really need to start working on Media Passes....

RPM: Red Passion Men's Story Manga Scanlation
Option Magazine is running a monthly manga, called RPM: Red Passion Men's Story. As a 30 year old who is also remembering his early days in the car scene, I can tell you that this story is PHENOMENAL. I am translating it with the help of my girlfriend, and even she (who is not a gearhead whatsoever) cannot wait to translate the next issue. We just love the story so far. Anyways, that's coming up, and I will fill you in on it a little bit more in a pre-launch post here in about a week or two. I think you will love it.

Back Issue Scanlations and Snippets
I have a stockpile of old car magazines laying around ranging from Drift Tengoku to K-Style, andI am randomly going to do scanlations from the back issues to present to you. I will try to release at least a blurb every week or so.

Randomness
I have a couple of other projects running around in my head, including two how-to video series and a tools review series, but I need a little cash-flow and a little sponsorship (or a lot of both) to make it happen. I also want to do some tool reviews as I build my tool collection.

WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!?!
No...really? I have listed some stuff, but this is your magazine blog just as much as it is mine. Hit me up in the comments section and tell me what you want to see. I might not be able to make it happen right away, but I can promise you I will try my best. If you are still reading down to this point, thanks so much.... now comment me and tell me what you want.

Meanwhile, here is a wallpaper that I found while browsing the net looking for something for the school computer. I fell in love with it, so I wanted to hook you up too. It's 1900x1200, but it should scale nicely to a 1080 desktop.
